Different Stroke Motorsports
Different Stroke Motorsports is an established used motorsport dealer in Manhattan, Montana. Their old website was lacking in a number of ways, and I saw huge potential for growth with a website rebuild and expansion. With a focus on user experience and SEO value, Different Stroke saw a 30% increase in users in the first month of this website going live and broke their previous record for monthly users at 2,200. Advanced inventory filtering and listings helped to decrease the bounce rate by 15% and increase session durations. Just 3 months after publishing the new website, Different Stroke broke their previous record for most units sold in a single month since the start of their business in 1994.
PUSH
PUSH is an action sports tutorial hub. This is one of the most advanced site I have built, and the build time is now in the hundreds of hours. This project features fully customizeable user profiles, the ability to submit tutorials directly to a Google Drive account, infinite scroll for quick page loads, AJAX search filtering, and so much more. Take a look through the site to really understand its magnitude and robustness. In a build like this, there is so much to consider from functionality, to design, to expandability. PUSH was built with care, and it continues to expand regularly.
Glacier Family Dental
Glacier Family Dental is a website I built for a dental practice in Great Falls. They were already an established practice, but did not have an existing website and wanted to ensure success in search results as well. After they sent me content and a general idea of sites they liked, I built what is now glacierfamilydental.com. Utilizing the bright colors and positive feel from their logo, I applied a consistent style throughout the site that is warm and welcoming yet still maintains a professional feel. After some consideration, I opted to leave services and team members all on one page to allow less clicks to serve the same content in an efficient way. This site was a start to finish process in 1 week.
Gold Standard Auto Body
Gold Standard was a new business in 2014, and they had a simply website published as soon as the business opened. While the business began to grow and thrive, the website remained unchanged for many years. Fast forward to 2019, where more than half of all web traffic is on mobile devices and SEO competition has gotten fierce. It was time for an overhaul from the simple site created in 2014 that didn't even have a mobile version. With a focus on modernizing, user experience, mobile friendliness and SEO, the new Gold Standard website was born.
The Drone Squad
The Drone Squad is a new business in Cave Creek, AZ offering drone photography and videography services. The owner came to me in need of branding, business cards and a website to offer her services. I helped offer suggestions to the client for how to best structure the site, and we discussed the importance of SEO versus user experience. With most of her clients coming from another business and less need to focus on Google search terms, I focused her services page largely on user experience and functionality. With a focus on photography, I made sure that the images throughout the site were large, beautiful and focused.
Bozeman Community Auto
Bozeman Community Auto is a website I did for a local mechanic shop. I actually took my vehicle there for repairs, and noticed that the site could use a revamp. It had very outdated styles, no SSL certificate, and it wasn't mobile friendly. This is a great example of a low budget job. It's simple and to the point, yet elegant and effective. I would have liked to spend time on photography and a logo upgrade as well, but the client was happy with the site as-is. This site is also a great example of a site with moving parts, from the text that is spelled out visually to the items that are revealed on scroll.
Face Body Spirit Salon
This site actually belongs to my mother, and she was my first client. You have to appreciate a supportive mother! She wanted to avoid complexity and make sure her services were easy to find and understand. I worked with her to find a design she was happy with, and made sure information on the site is easy to find and well organized. She's a classy lady, and she deserves a classy website.
Kelley’s About Face
Kelley's About Face is a skin care website I made for a client earlier this year. The client had a logo and content, but no previous website. Together we decided on a color palette and after a few iterations I ended up with the current design. The goal was to give the website a feel that catered to older women and portrayed beauty. It was also important to make information easy to understand and easy to access. This is another example of a job I can do with a low budget.
